Reconstitution example (for a typical 10 mg or 20 mg vial): Add 1–2 mL bacteriostatic water (yielding 5–10 mg/mL).
5 mg = 0.5–1 mL (50–100 units on U-100 insulin syringe)
10 mg = 1–2 mL (100–200 units)
Administration: Subcutaneous or intramuscular injection, usually in the morning or early evening.
